► ULU Leagues

London students have more organised sports competitions than any other students in the UK. In addition to national competitions, we provide over twenty knock-out cup competitions and a myriad of different league programmes. Current competitions include Football, Hockey, Basketball, Rugby Union, Netball, Cricket, Badminton, Squash and Lacrosse. Most of these offer participation by both sexes in either individual or mixed teams.
ULU League sport provides a great opportunity to meet new people, make new friends, travel the capital and develop new skills that will help with your studies and in getting a job. It also provides the opportunity for an extended social life, not wholly confined to your college.
The leagues are available at www.sportalise.com
In order to participate in these competitions, all you need to do is trial for your college teams. Speak with your students union sports officer or staff members to find out what sports are available to you.
In addition, the Sports Development area of ULU is relaunching as 'ACTIVATE', offering a chance to try new activities and further develop as a volunteer.
If you need any details about the leagues, ACTIVATE or sport in general contact the Leagues Co-ordinator Darel on d.poole@ulu.lon.ac.uk or telephone 020 7664 2009
